This recombinant monoclonal antibody neutralizes Chikungunya. The antibody sequence was recovered from an individual who was infected and recovered from CHIKV during the 2006 outbreak in La Réunion, France. The antibody epitope is well characterized and spans domain A and domain B of two neighboring E2 within one spike.
