The BHK DC-SIGN monoclonal cell line was generated using baby hamster kidney (BHK) cells to create a permissive cell line for efficient infection by flavivirus Reporter Virus Particles.
The cells were developed from BHK21 clone 15 (Center for Vector-borne Diseases, UC Davis). The cells are adherent and have a fibroblast morphology.
Cells are intended for research purposes only.
